My point is you don't get "HD" when you re-encode standard definition into a higher resolution. It's the same as the digital zoom on some cameras. Digital zoom only crops the scene then blows that up; it doesn't increase and reveal finer detail. It's the same as if you crop and blow up the old little blocky video game characters like Mario on the screen; you get big blury blocks. It's not HD.
