By: luciuslars. on 08 May 12, 14:27:03 and no one seems to pay attention to the fact that watson is a capable young military doctor only retired due to a shoulder wound and an infection. he is? young, good looking and a good story teller. quite a ladies man. that is quite unsatifying. --- however, it is fun to watch this series and one has to have seen it!

i find it most difficult to subscribe to this point of view. actually it is rather "free" when it comes to the? stories and the characters show great lack of seriousness. holmes' depression and his drug addiction are not mentioned at all.also holmes is shown in this show as a guy totally incapable of fighting. in the books he was a well trained boxer and "stick"-fighter. watson is played for laughs!
