I also listen to some pretty hardcore death metal, thrash metal, all types of punk, etc. A lot of that stuff is far from mainstream and disliked by many.
Doesn't bother me. It is music made diectly from the artist..not copied or mimicked. IMHO, Glee puts a big "Happy face" on all there remakes. A lot of music is written w/o a happy face on it.
