May I make comment for what it's worth, canon printers and cartridges have? only a finite life spanonly so many pages cane be printed and usually 3 to 5 refills each cartridge, pulling cartridges in and out of the printer also takes a toll on the chips (CSI) system is better method but expensive. Do not overfill the cartridges as excess ink can distroy the printer

A friend suggested that the problem was that those cartridges were not air-tight and he was correct, so I messed around a little bit and got them filled up to about 80-90%.? Can your chip extenders be used with any 364 cartridge? (I guess they can)

as described in the title :). I use vegetable glycerin USP (correct me if I'm wrong but USP means food grade?). Get this stuff for a few bucks at most good pharmacies. No need for flavour, glycerin is already sweet. Save yourself the trouble and skip the nicotine too (get gum or something! :D) Credit to www.youtube.com for showing me how to do this and helping me decide on greensmoke.

Most plumbing supplies houses will only exchange/warranty the plastic cartridge 1225. Also, even if you tap out a brass cartridge, it still may remain stuck and will strip out the threads. Ever try to cut out a brass cartridge? Not fun at all and I tell my customers that if it strips out, a? new faucet is in order.
On the other hand, the plastic cartridge is much easier to cut out. Just sayin...

I'm so glad I watched this video first,? both of them had the center part break off. I used the washer method and it worked great. One caveat, I had difficulty putting the pin back in on a sink faucet because the force of the washers pushing back actually bent the end of the socket and crimped the slot for the pin closed a tiny bit. Next time I would shim that slot with something, maybe the pin turned sideways.

I would try soaking? the handle screw it in WD40 or Liquid Wrench type oil, wait a while to let it penetrate, and try again. If that still doesn't work, I might try pulling the stem out with the handle still on it. But then you'd still need to find a replacement handle and screw. It might be very difficult, and may not work, but it's worth a try, before replacing the whole faucet, or calling in a plumber.

If so, that screw goes into the stem of the cartridge (see 2:47 in the vid). I'm not sure what the noise is. Did you try holding the handle to keep it from spinning, while attempting to loosen the screw? I'm just guessing? here, because I'm not sure what you are dealing with.
