I don't know if I like the idea of picking out the good frames from a video stream, rather than deliberately picking my shots, but it is a concept that hasn't been pushed before, I think.
Oh, and actually, a couple of days ago,? JVC actually announced a camera that sounds just like the "Wonder Camera" (it's called the GC-PX10)

Say you set your car to go 100mph, then you can use D/R? to set limit back to say 80 mph. However, if you are in a pinch and you need that 100mph, you are out of luck. That's what expo is for.
