If you run qualifying with an illegal fuel load your lap shouldn't count but as he had enough fuel to give a sample (after stopping) one could argue that disqualifying him from Q3 would be enough. Harsh. But you're comparing two completely different things so it doesn't saying anything about the consistency of rulings. It's the same for everybody. What McLaren and Hamilton fans should focus on is why they always put themselves in those moronic situations to get penalized in the first place.?

First of all schumis penalty was for a racing incident, 5 places is enough for what was quite a soft penalty. Should webber have got a penalty for hitting kovaleinen in Valencia 2010? Secondly Maldonado has purposefully driven into another driver which is dangerous driving and is a? 10 place penalty, respect the decisions of the stewards and enjoy the racing
