However it is really boring playing as just another japanese faction, I was hoping they would bring in Mongol Invaders or let you choose from Chinese, Mongol or Japanese factions that would be more diverse in how they fight , use diplomacy, how honour effects them ect...one thing I miss from Rome Total War? is the power of Fear, in S2TW you get dishounor which just makes your provinces revolt/rebell. :(

Of course the area of? the battlefield would be huge as the range of weapons from artillery to actual firearms is either doubled or tripled so battles would take place on a larger scale but that wouldnt remove the tactics of it all. Infantry would probably play a specialist unit like the ninja unit in shogun 2 battles for sneaking and sabotage while the main units would be tanks and armoured jeeps.
