I still have the original Rainbow Six and almost 14 years later I still remember how controlling multiple squads at the same time with manually created waypoints was awesome. Oh, the irony... The fact that you mention Splinter Cell Conviction in your defence shows that you have got no clue where you are talking about. In all previous Splinter Cells you could finish the levels without killing anyone (except if it was part of the mission). In Conviction, you can't even hide a body anymore. Conviction is way too easy and is all about running and gunning... Compare? Conviction with Pandorra Tomorrow or Chaos Theory (even Double Agent) and you'll see.
