what's so great about his band is that it's just a bunch of dudes having fun and making great? music. It's so obvious that they're having fun with each other. Like, it's the equivalent of a group of friends just sitting in a garage playing around. And it turned out really, REALLY good.

Hey, take? it easy guys. This user called" thegrinchl7" is the same freak as "FrightWolf" and I think he has a couple of other users too. He goes around every Jeff Lynne and ELO video around YouTube critizicing him and George Harrison. He's obsessed with Jeff. I think by this point he must already know every song he wrote because he's in all of his videos. You can recognize him because he leaves a blank line between lines. There's no point in discussing with him.

Anytime I see someone mock Jeff Lynne, I just disregard them completely because they clearly don't know music. ELO was f-ing brilliant. They didn't do drugs or have crazy sex. As much as I love Keith and the Stones you gotta respect that. Also the Wilburys were made up of considerably different musicians. I don't really really think Roy Orbison had a whole lot in common other than making music that can make? a grown man cry. There are no "has beens" here. Just brilliance. Cheers to all!

Come on, let's be honest here: nobody under 30 knows who Jeff Lynne is. Those over 40 that do, seem to be less than impressed with whatever he was supposed? to have done.? Something in the desolate 70's...we think. All we're sure of is that George Harrison liked him...or felt sorry for him. Personally, I've never had much respect for any adult that dresses like a Muppet. Wearing women's sunglasses in a dark room doesn't help his chances either. This song is so catchy and cool as all their other songs too, i wish they had made more LPs, theres not even 1 song that is bad on? the 2 LPs, really awesome. :-)

I remember when this song came out the late 80's sure we where all broke financially but most family's still got by and it was music like this? that helped set the mood. Its a great song with rad talent =)
