What exactly is a swear word? What makes it different than other words? After all, it's just a sound. A sound that, in another language, could mean something entirely different. Words are simply a way of expressing our thoughts. Are we being judged by the sound of the world? By its intent? By our thoughts? What is it that exactly makes swearing bad? Nature?
